Improvements are coming to one of the most scenic roads in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A major rehabilitation project begins Monday, July 14, on a seven-mile stretch of Newfound Gap Road, starting at milepost 20.90 and continuing to milepost 27.90 on the North Carolina side of the park.
